Miracle on 34th Street Defense

In Italy, a man has brought forth a suit in court claiming a local preist has broken two Italian Laws. The first is "Abuso di Credulita Popolare" (Abuse of Popular Belief) meant to protect people against being swindled or conned. The second crime, he says, is "Sostituzione di Persona", or impersonation. So an Italian court may have to decide if in fact there ever was a Jesus. I hope some children have written to Jesus. Perhaps the defending attorney can use the Miracle on 34th Street Defense.

My one fear is that this case will be taken up by some wacko here.
