New Haven Register Opinion

A recent opinion in the New Haven Register claims that Al Franken and other in opposition to the war can say they "Oppose the war yet support the troops." due to their USO service. Although I commend all the entertainers who give their time to the USO, any entertainer who says the hurtful things that Al Franken spews, cannot be allowed that statement as an out. As a rebuttal, please read this open letter from a soldier in Iraq to all United States Congessmen and Senators. This must be an amazingly well read educated person. The letter is one of the best written I've ever read. I can only hope the politicians read it. For that matter I hope they comprehend it.
