Good Photos

Why do I have to search for and wide to find good news. Bookmark this page. He has great stories of his observations. I do not browse this page nearly enough. Unfortunately I am not alone. We only hear about the failure. Failure sells. There is more success than failure. Do a Google search: Terrorist Captured or Terrorist Killed millions of stories! Why are they not reported? Don't answer.

War on Brats?

The owner of this restaurant has a policy help to keep his place comfortable to visit. I commend his attempt to train parents to actually be parents. How will children learn to behave if one never shows them how. quote: "I think that the mothers who allow their kids to run around and scream, that's wrong, but kids scream and there is nothing you can do about it. What are we supposed to do, not enjoy ourselves at a cafe?" YES!! You have a obligation to your child to NOT ENJOY yourself at the cafe'!! In fact you have another obligation. That is to be as polite as possible to those around you. And part of that is to keep your child from exhibiting disruptive behavior.

As an aside I note that the article did not mention any Dads upset by the policy. This could simply be that there were no Dads there to be interviewed or it could be that men in general tend to care more about being embarrassed than women do. I know that when Boy behaves poorly in a public place I am embarrassed and A is not. Any thoughts on this?

GMA Report

I watched a bit of Good Morning America while preparing for my day today and they were making big fun of President Bush not being able to open the door somewhere in Mongolia. Charlie teased by saying "No way out. President Bush tries the wrong door on his trip to Asia and has fun for the cameras. But the big question now: Does he have an exit strategy for Iraq?" how is Bush in Mongloia related to the war? It got worse. Jessica Yellin did a report on his trip to Mongolia. She showed the "door gaf" and then reported on the trip, but not really. All she sould talk about was the war. She summerized: "the President set expectations low, and met them." criminy. (insert harsher vocabulary here) View the report here (?maybe?).
I thought the "door gaf" was really funny, but I found myself laughing with President Bush, not laughing at him.

A great read

Charles Krauthammer has written yet another piece I love. big surprise.
